3.2 資料處理流程

1. 讀取網頁的文字內容
2. 使用正則表達式識別貨幣符號和金額
3. 計算轉換後的金額
4. 在網頁上顯示轉換結果
5. 立即丟棄所有讀取的內容，不保留任何記錄

4. 外部網路請求

4.1 匯率資料來源

本擴充功能僅向一個外部 API 發送請求：

• API 名稱：ExchangeRate-API
• API 網址：https://open.er-api.com/
• 請求目的：取得最新的貨幣匯率資料
• 請求頻率：最多每 24 小時一次（使用快取機制）

2.2 Local Storage Settings

This Extension only stores the following non-personal settings on your local device:

• Your selected target currency code (e.g., "TWD", "USD", etc.)

• Cached exchange rate data (valid for 24 hours, only to reduce API request frequency)

Important Notes:

• These settings are stored only on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.sync API
• We cannot access this data; it is not uploaded to any server
• You can clear these settings at any time by removing this Extension

3. Web Page Content Reading

This Extension needs to read the content of the web pages you are browsing, but only for identifying currency symbols and amounts.

3.1 How We Use ActiveTab Permission

• Purpose: Temporarily read visible text content of web pages to identify currency symbols (such as $, €, £, ¥) and corresponding amounts
• Processing: Processed in real-time within the browser; conversion results are displayed immediately on the web page
• Not Recorded: We do not save, record, or transmit any web page content
• Not Read: Password fields, input box contents, form data, cookies, localStorage, or other sensitive information

3.2 Data Processing Flow

1. Read text content of the web page
2. Use regular expressions to identify currency symbols and amounts
3. Calculate converted amounts
4. Display conversion results on the web page
5. Immediately discard all read content without keeping any records

4. External Network Requests

4.1 Exchange Rate Data Source

This Extension sends requests to only one external API:

• API Name: ExchangeRate-API
• API URL: https://open.er-api.com/
• Request Purpose: Fetch the latest currency exchange rate data
• Request Frequency: Maximum once every 24 hours (using cache mechanism)
• Transmitted Content: Only requests exchange rate data; does NOT transmit any user information, browsing information, or personal data
• Security: Uses HTTPS encrypted transmission

4.2 Third-Party Service Policy
